LouElla Loy Evans

LouElla Loy Evans-age 84 of Maynardville went to be with Lord Friday, December 11, 2020 with a smile on her face and surrounded by her family. LouElla faithfully attended Alder Springs Baptist Church for over 50 years, there she served as bereavement team coordinator. She retired from Levi Strauss and Company in 1994 after 30 years of service. LouElla loved volunteering for the Paulette Volunteer Fire Department. She was a caregiver to many family members, friends and animals over the years. Preceded in death by parents, Grade and Myrtle Loy; sister, Bernice Coppock; brothers, John and Ralph Loy; sisters-in-law, Leona Loy, Betty Loy; brothers-in-law, Ermal Breeding, Willie Evans.

Survived by husband of 57 years, Swan Evans; her daughter, Sonia Hill and son-in-law, Kendal Hill and beloved granddaughter, Izzy hill who was “Nanny’s little baby girl”. Sister, Sue Breeding; brothers, Bill, Earl and Wayne (Billie) Loy. Brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Charlene Evans; brother-in-law, Carl Coppock; sister-in-law, Darlene Evans. Numerous nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Darlene Evans who provided many home cooked meals during her illness. Special thank you to Charlene, Gail, Debbie and Pam who would come and visit so the family could rest. A very special thank you to Dr. Amy Bentley for all her love and care over the years. Also, to Rev. Jimmy Davidson, a very special thank you for his visits and support. LouElla will be sadly missed by her family and friends, but especially by her daughter who she called numerous times a day just to see what she was doing and if she was ok.

Due to Covid-19, a call at your convenience visitation will be Monday after 11 A.M. at the funeral home.

Graveside service 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Evans Family Cemetery, Maynardville, Rev. Dwight Brantley officiating with music by Melissa Wyrick. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 1 P.M. for the funeral procession. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paulette Volunteer Fire Department or the Union County Humane Society.
