Jason Lynn Buckner-age 41 of Sweetwater, formerly of Maynardville passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at his home after a long battle with cancer. Preceded in death by grandparents, Verlin and Ruby (Buckner) Munsey; father, Kenneth Paul Buckner; brother, Kenny Ray Buckner. He was a member of Sonrise Church.

Survivors: daughters, Ivy Buckner and Mikayla Buckner; aunt, Linda Munsey; uncles, Steven and Marie Munsey; Allen Buckner. His Sweetwater family: Tabby Cosner, Cousin Deb McAllister and girlfriend, Julia Sturgeon. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the Staff of Adoration Hospice for their loving care of Jason.

Graveside service 2 P.M. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Buckner Cemetery, Maynardville, Rev. J. C. Allen officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery by 1:50 P.M. Saturday. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
