Betty Grayson-age 91 of New Tazewell, born July 24, 1929 in Miami, Florida passed away Friday, December 4 2020 at her home after a struggle with cancer. She was a Jehovah’s Witness and encouraged everyone to read God’s word.

She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Powell; children, Dorothy (Jerry) Love; Jim (Terry) Grayson; Cathy (Scott) Smolinsky; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many special friends that were brothers and sisters to her. Several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express a special thank you to all the staff of Smokey Mountain Health and Hospice for their wonderful care of our mother.
