Many expected to say goodbye to the only tanning salon in Union County, Bronzed Brilliance Tanning of Maynardville, last year when the owner passed away. What many do not know is that a patron of Bronze Brilliance Tanning decided to purchase the salon and keep the doors open. Andrea Posani, a frequent customer of the establishment, was heart-struck to find the owner and operator of her beloved tanning salon had passed. When she discovered that the previous owner had no one to take over the salon and that it was up for sale, she decided to take a chance on it.

Although Andrea and her husband are business savvy, she was unfamiliar with what running a tanning salon entailed. She did, however, know what customers of tanning salons are looking for and what type of tanning experience she was accustomed to. With that, Andrea and her husband, Mario, set forth to renovate the salon and create ZenTastic Tanning LLC.

Andrea was a fan of Bronzed Brilliance Tanning, being a long-time customer, but she wanted to enhance the experience for customers by offering more options. The first thing she wanted to do was brighten up the space and to make it more inviting. She also wanted to have more tanning options available, so she started researching top of the line tanning equipment.

ZenTastic Tanning LLC officially opened their doors on Jan 17th. It offers 4 levels of tanning, 1 through 4, with a level 5 bed arriving soon. For those of us unfamiliar with tanning lingo, the levels refer to the intensity of the tanning. For safety purposes, customers should always start with a level 1 tanning bed, to get a base coat or starter tan. Once they have tanned a bit, they can gradually increase levels to bronze and get that sun kissed look without burning or peeling.

In addition to the four levels of tanning available, ZenTastic Tanning LLC also offers a stand-up tanning booth for those who do not want to lie down in a tanning bed. In the near future, Spray Tanning will be offered soon, which comes without an requirement. In the state of Tennessee, tanning customers must be at least 16 years of age in order to use a tanning bed. However, youngsters are able to spray tan, so a spray tan unit will be coming to the salon soon.

In addition to light structural renovations, a paint job, and some chic furniture pieces, ZenTastic Tanning LLC has expanded their lotions and tanning creams. In honor of their grand opening on Jan 17th, all lotions and tanning creams are 20% off until 1/22/2023. The expanded line includes the entire 2023 collection from Devoted Creation.

Although the tanning packages are already affordable, a special discount is offered to any patron interested in purchasing a three month commitment.
