Union County Heritage Festival Announces 2024 Exhibit Winners

The Union County Heritage Festival showcased remarkable talent and skill from both youth and adult participants in this year's 4-H Youth and Adults Exhibits. The annual event featured a variety of categories, from sewing and needle art to canned goods and farm-fresh eggs. The Union County community came together to celebrate the hard work and creativity of its members.

4-H Youth Winners:
-Sarah Blanchette – 1st place in Sewing and Needle Art, 2nd place in Canned Pickles
-HMMS Campus Agriculture – 1st place in Gourds, 2nd place in Brown Eggs, 2nd place in Fall Centerpiece
-HMMS Agriculture Club – 1st place in Canned Pickles, 1st place in Canned Vegetables (Peppers), 1st place in Canned Vegetables (Spaghetti Sauce)
-Reed Reno – 1st place in Barn Quilt Design, 3rd place in Brown Eggs
-Savannah Lee – 1st place in Brown Eggs
-Judd Jones – 1st place in Brown Eggs
-Annabelle Groce – 1st place in Brown Eggs, 1st place in Needle Art
-Asher Firkin – 1st place in Duck Eggs
-Jude Firkin – 1st place in Brown Eggs
-Virginia Firkin – 1st place in 4-H or UT-Themed Craft, 1st place in Fall Centerpiece
-Ariona Payne – 1st place in Green/Blue Eggs, 3rd place in Brown Eggs, 3rd place in Fall Centerpiece

Adult Winners:
-Mary Firkin – 1st and 2nd place in Sewing and Needle Arts
-Carol Pratt – 1st place in Canned Jams and Jellies, 1st place in Canned Fruit/Vegetable
-Marina Lacey – 1st place in Sewing and Needle Art
