Union County Farmers Market hiring for new positions

The Union County Farmers Market is getting ready for a new season. Thanks to recent grants, they will hire staff to help improve the market. Here are the three new positions:
Market Manager
This top-level staff position is a year-round part-time job. The position requires a dependable person who can plan, organize and promote events and communicate well with the public. Candidates must be available to work Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings, and other times as needed, some of which may be remotely from home. Training for additional skills will be available as needed.
Assistant Market Manager
The Union County Tennessee Farmers Market is hiring an Assistant Market Manager. This is a seasonal part-time job from May to October. The position requires a dependable person who can communicate well with the public, manage scheduled farmers markets and perform other duties as assigned by the Market Manager. Candidates must be available to work Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings, and other times as needed for special events.
Demonstration Chef
The Union County Tennessee Farmers Market is hiring a Demonstration Chef for the Saturday market. This is a seasonal part-time job from May to October. Candidates must be available to work Saturday mornings and other times as needed for special events. The position requires a dependable person who can plan, organize and demonstrate a recipe for in-season fruits and vegetables, meats or locally produced value-added products. They must be able to communicate well with the public, make social media posts and work with the press.
