Smoky Mountain 4-H visits nursing facility

On March 4th, the Union County Smoky Mountain 4-H made a trip to the Willow Ridge nursing facility in Maynardville. When the 4-Hers got there, they got out the cards they had made previously and some fuzzy, grippy socks attached. Once inside, the activity director, Ocean, welcomed them and escorted them to all the resident’s rooms. In less than an hour, the 4-Hers had handed out over seventy-five cards and socks for all the residents. They had a great time talking with them, handing out cards and making sure they had a great day.
