Savory Creamed Corn

There are only a few ways to fix fresh sweet corn. Here is a different one. I hope you like it.

Savory Creamed Corn
1 teaspoon butter or margarine
4 cups fresh sweet corn kernels (about 8 ears)
1/2 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

Husk and cut corn from ears. Heat butter in large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add corn. Cook 6 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in sour cream. Cook and stir for 3 minutes or until heated through. Remove from heat. Stir in cheese and chopped basil. Serves 8
Note: Two medium ears equal about 1 cup kernels. Serves 6
