Rabies Clinic May 7, Thunder Road Vet Services at the ready

You may have heard that due to the pandemic, the TN Health Department has canceled its annual rabies clinics this year.
Thunder Road Veterinary Services office manager Heather Patterson is happy to share that they are hosting low-cost rabies and other crucial vaccinations for your pets Wednesday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Rabies shots are only $5, and other vaccines are available at discounted rates.
The groomer, Mitzi, will do quick nail trims, or you may schedule grooming services by calling the office.
Dr. Tim Williams is the owner and supervising veterinarian who is always on hand to examine animals as needed.
Patterson has noticed an increase in the demand for veterinary services, believing it is due to the pandemic keeping people home more, that is giving them more time with their pets, therefore better opportunities to notice what is going on with their pets.
Patterson says they try to keep costs reasonable and that if anyone finds a better deal on veterinary services elsewhere, Thunder Road Vet will offer a price-matching guarantee within one year of service. Discounted prices on other products and services are also available.
Thunder Road Veterinary Services has a second location in North Maynardville to be opened soon at 4605 Maynardville Highway and they are currently working on opening an animal hospital next to the YMCA in Halls, which will offer full-service veterinary medicine, surgery, and diagnostics as well as professional dog training.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 delayed completion of that project and the opening date of that location is not yet known.
