CRIMINAL COURT JURY PROCEEDINGS SUSPENDED THROUGH JANUARY 31, 2021, NON-JURY PROCEEDINGS TO BE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Criminal Court for the Eighth Judicial District have altered the schedule for the Eighth Judicial District Criminal Court through January 31, 2021.
Jury Proceedings: There will be no jury proceedings, trial or grand jury, through January 31, 2021. New dates for jury proceedings will be established when in-person meetings are allowed to resume.
Non-jury Proceedings: All non-jury proceedings in Criminal Court will be conducted virtually through January 31, 2020 in accordance with the following schedule:
Campbell County ̶ November 30, 2020
December 16 and 17, 2020
January 6, 2021
January 25 and 26, 2021
Claiborne County ̶ December 7 and 8, 2020
January 8, 2021
Fentress County ̶ December 14 and 15, 2020
January 7, 2021
Scott County ̶ January 5, 2021
January 19 and 20, 2021
Union County ̶ January 4, 2021
January 11 and 12, 2021
