Pork Chop Stew
You don't usually think of pork chops in the same sentence as "Stew," but here it is
4 meaty pork chops
Salt and pepper to taste
Poultry seasoning
4 medium potatoes, peeled, sliced
2 carrots. sliced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preheat oven to 350 F. In skillet over medium heat, brown pork chops. Add salt, pepper and poultry seasoning to taste. When browned on both sides remove from skillet and place in 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Rinse skillet with 1/2 cup cold water and pour over chops. Layer vegetables over meat. Spread soup over top. Cover with foil and bake for about an hour or until chops are tender.
