It’s officially scholarship season; well, if it ever isn’t time to apply for educational assistance!? Union County Farm Bureau has opened the application period for up to two $1,500 scholarship awards this year. If you are a member of the Farm Bureau, do continue reading, this is a wonderful opportunity.

It is encouraged for any high school senior to apply, you are eligible as long as your immediate family holds a current membership with Farm Bureau. An emphasis will be put on those students who are heading in the agricultural field of study, but don’t let that hinder you from applying! Farm Bureau works deeply in the ag community and hopes that youths will follow in that field to ensure that the legacy stays alive within upcoming generations.

Applications are open now but must be returned to the Union County Farm Bureau office no later than March 1, 2022 to be considered. You will need to gather general things but be sure to keep a thorough log of your community service activities and volunteer endeavors as this will be vital on all scholarship and even internship and job applications; you can never be too involved in your community but be sure to keep accurate track of your efforts to be credited as you may find the need as you fill out many applications.
