ICARE Job Opening
This is a Program Coordinator Position. It is a Federal Grant filtered through the Board of Education. The person we hire will be contracted by the BOE, therefore, will not receive any benefits but will be paid as a 1099. I have not received the full budget or contract from the State Dept. but was told this could be considered a full time position (30-40 hours a week)

Program goals for this project include:
To coordinate the implementation of substance abuse prevention environmental strategies within the Grantee’s communities to address: stimulant use among persons ages fourteen to twenty-four (14-24) years; and opioid use among the total population in their community, region, and statewide.
To reduce the past thirty (30) day stimulant use rate among persons ages fourteen to twenty-four (14-24) years in ___Union___ County, Tennessee.
To reduce the past thirty (30) day opioid use rate among the total population in ___Union___ County, Tennessee.
To reduce substance use related problems in ___Union___ County, Tennessee.
To build community-level prevention capacity and infrastructure to prevent the onset and reduce the progression of substance abuse in ___Union___ County, Tennessee.
To strengthen capacity and infrastructure at the state and community levels in support of substance abuse prevention in Tennessee.
Establish a baseline of the past thirty (30) day stimulant use rate among persons ages fourteen to twenty-four (14-24) years in Region _2_.
To contribute to a reduction of the past thirty (30) day opioid use rate among the total population in Region _2_ by five (5) percent, as reported in the SAMHSA, Center for Behavioral Statistics and Quality, National Survey on Drug Use and Health.
Establish a baseline of the past thirty (30) day stimulant use rate among persons ages fourteen to twenty-four (14-24) years statewide.
To contribute to a statewide reduction of the past thirty (30) day opioid use rate among the total population by three (3) percent, as reported in the SAMHSA, Center for Behavioral Statistics and Quality, National Survey on Drug Use and Health.
To leverage, redirect, and realign statewide funding streams for substance abuse prevention.
