Honey Mustard Chicken Leg Quarters
We all know Honey-Mustard Chicken Wings are delicious. The same can be said for chicken leg quarters. They are usually cheaper by the pound at the meat counter. Try this recipe and see your family dig in.
HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN LEG QUARTERS
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons lemon juice
6 chicken leg quarters
Salt and pepper
Combine butter, honey, mustard and lemon juice. Lightly sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place chicken leg quarters, meaty side down in lightly greased 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Pour honey mustard sauce over chicken. Cover and refrigerate 3 or 4 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator. Bake, covered with foil, for 70 minutes at 350 F. Remove foil. Turn chicken pieces. Bake another 30 minutes longer or until tender and browned. Baste occasionally with pan drippings after it is uncovered. Makes 6 servings.
