Honey butter chicken
If you like Honey-Mustard Sauce on your chicken, you'll like this. No mustard needed here, just enjoy the buttery honey flavor. Sometimes I forget how good chicken tastes when sweetened. But if you've never tried that flavor, you are in for a treat.
HONEY-BUTTER CHICKEN
4 (bone-in with skin) chicken breast halves
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons paprika
3/4 cup butter
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
Mix together flour, salt, pepper and paprika in small shallow bowl. Dredge chicken in the mixture. Set aside to dry slightly. Melt 1/2 cup butter in shallow baking pan in 400 F. oven. Remove pan from oven. Arrange chicken in single layer in pan, turning to coat with butter. Bake skin side down at 400 F. for 30 minutes, then turn chicken. Next, in a saucepan, melt remaining butter, adding honey and lemon juice. Spoon sauce over chicken and bake another 15 minutes or until tender. Males 4 servings.
