The Union County Farmers Market sponsored the first Holiday Market Nov. 21. The day was gorgeous and perfect for outdoor shopping. Vendors were plentiful, but shoppers were few.

More than 15 vendors participated in the market including, Baked by Allison, Authors Brooke Cox and Cyn Taylor, Constant Creations, Hopewell Farm, CBD oil products, Ken’s Hens at Hayes Hollow Farm, KSB Apiary, Made by Katie Mae, Mamma’s Queen Beez, Paradiso Homestead/Comb Ridge Studio, Ropes and Wings Ranch, Seven Springs Farm and Farm Store, Sweet Treats by Emily, Thunder Ridge Publishing, Tillman Rabbit Farm, Walker Appliance and Wreaths by Sandra Jessie.

“We will have a second Holiday Market on Sat., Dec 12. 11-2 at the Wilson Park location,” announced Beth Bergeron, Program Assistant, UT Extension Union County. “Some of our regular market vendors that could not attend the first market will be back on Dec 12. Tindell Farmhouse Bakery will return with their wonderful cinnamon rolls and artisanal yeast breads as well as some sweets. We hope to see Savannah of Jones Farm and Livestock back from UT, and Guzzle Hollow may have some honey and maple syrup available.”
Vendors are hoping for a better turnout of shoppers as Christmas approaches.
