Examples of paintings from a past Union County Heritage Festival art show

Union County Heritage Festival Art Show and Contest will occur on Saturday, October 2, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Historic Snodderly House, 720 Main St., Maynardville.
Cash awards and ribbons will be given for Best Heritage, Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, 3rd place in two- and three-dimensional works and photography. Ribbons will be given to Honorable Mentions.
The application is available at The Snodderly House during drop off hours and on the Heritage Festival Website, www.unioncountyheritagefestival.com, and by contacting Betty Bullen bullenart@aol.com. There is no entry fee.
Event Schedule
Art work will be accepted on Wednesday, September 29, from noon to 3 p.m., at the Historic Snodderly House. An Early Viewing and Meet The Artist reception will be held on Thursday, September 30, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The jury process will be on Friday, October 1. The show is Saturday, October 2, during festival hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Pick Up Work Saturday, October 2nd, 4 to 5 p.m. Please note that work cannot be picked up before 4 p.m.

Professional artists may also exhibit and offer their work for sale in the Red Room during the event. Drop off and pickup dates and times are the same as show contestants.
