Last year Shirley Keaton's painting "Peaches" received "Best of Show" in the Fine Arts Exhibition for Union County Heritage Festival. Your entry may be the 2017 winner.

The Union County Heritage Festival's Art Show is a juried mixed-media exhibition open to artists 18 years of age and above. (There will be a Student Art Show for those under 18 years of age).  The exhibition is intended to showcase art work produced throughout our area.  All work submitted must be original to the artist in idea, design, and production and must not have been shown in a previous Union County Heritage Festival Art Show. Artist are encouraged to enter up to the maximum of three pieces.  The show will be juried by an independent juror and prize ribbons will be given. Additional  awards donated from Jerry's Artarama will also be given to recipients.  Awards for the exhibition are Best Union County Heritage, Best of Show, First, Second, and Third Place for two dimensional art, First, Second, and Third Place for three dimensional art and Five Honorable Mentions.
 
GUIDELINES:
---All work must be original to the artist in idea, design, and production.
---All work must not have been shown in a previous Union County Heritage Festival Art Show.
---All Two-Dimensional work must be framed or stretched (as appropriate) and wired to hang.  Work not wired to hang may be exempted from the show.
---A maximum of THREE pieces will be accepted from each artist.  Entries composed of multiple pieces must represent a single image that cannot be considered or sold separately.
---A signed, completed entry form must be submitted with each piece of art work.
---Each piece of art work must have the artist name, phone number, title of the work, value of the work, and price of the work if it is offered for sale attached to the back.
---All work must be left in the show until the close of the show at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 7th.
 
DELIVERY DATE:
---All work must be delivered to the Historic Snodderly House, 720 Main St., Maynardville, on Thursday, October 5th, between the hours of 11:00 am and 2:00 pm.  If you need special arrangements for delivery call Betty prior to the show at 865-992-1005.
 
PICK-UP DATE AND TIME:
---All work must be picked-up on Saturday, October 7th, between the hours. of 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM.  If you need special pick-up arrangements call Betty prior to the show at 865-992-1005.
