Foxes
FOXES
Down by the pasture
In an old hollow tree
Lives a red tail fox
And her little ones three.
Up on the ridge
By the old pig pen
Is a proud red rooster
And his ten laying hens
One morning came
No hens were in sight.
The red rooster crowed
Ready for a fight.
Call out the hounds
Round up a crew
Chicken eating fox
We’re coming after you.
Cockle-doodle-do!
