All quilters are invited to bring your quilts to the museum on Thursday, October 3, between 1:30 and 6 p.m. Ellen Perry and Patricia Campbell will be at the museum to accept entries.
Quilts will be judged, ribbons placed on them and ready for viewing on during museum festival hours of 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. For additional information or questions you may have about the quilt show and how to enter your quilts call Ellen Perry at (865)-992-4631, text her at (865) 230-4652, or you may contact Ellen by email at: jperry4631@comcast.net
You do not have to pre-register your entries, but if you would like to do this ahead of time, forms will be available at the museum and may be picked up there. A form is attached to this article online and also available at unioncountyheritagefestival.net, and on the Heritage Festival Facebook. The registration form may be emailed, brought to the museum, or mailed to Ellen Perry, 126 Firebird Lane, Maynardville, TN 37807.
Thank you to all our quilt participants who bring quilts each year and make the beautiful display at the museum one of the most exciting events at the Heritage Festival.
The museum is located at 3824 Maynardville Highway, in Maynardville.
On festival day, the museum will also host the Union County Cemeteries Association. This organization will have free brochures and books for sale to help with genealogy and finding graves. You can also get information on helping maintain a cemetery and what your responsibilities are concerning a cemetery on your property.
