We are thrilled to announce a very special event to celebrate the legacy of Coach John Edds, with a dedication of our middle school baseball field in his honor. The ceremony will take place on April 3 at 5 p.m., and we invite all former players and community members to join us as we recognize the incredible contributions John made to the baseball program.

John Edds was instrumental in not only building the middle school baseball facility but also in shaping the program into a championship contender every year. His leadership, passion, and dedication to our students and the sport have left a lasting impact on everyone who has been a part of the program. This dedication is a small token of appreciation for all the hard work he has put into our school’s baseball team over the years.

In addition to the ceremony, we will be hosting a social with light food and drinks at 4:30 p.m. in the HMMS cafeteria for former players and family, so make sure to come early and reconnect with old friends and teammates before the dedication begins. It’s sure to be a memorable evening of celebration and community!

As we return from spring break, we are gearing up for the final stretch of the school year, and it’s the perfect time to refocus on our academic goals. With less than four weeks until TCAP testing, it’s crucial for all students to finish the year strong. Let’s make these last few weeks count and put forth our best effort in all subjects.

A few reminders as we head into this important testing period:
• Make sure to charge your Chromebook every night and bring it to school every day.
• Stay organized, review your notes, and reach out for help when needed to ensure your academic success.
• Let’s maintain our commitment to learning and finish the year on a high note.
