Baked Fudge Pudding

Here is another old-timey dessert. It is a favorite of mine because it takes cocoa instead of unsweetened chocolate. I always have cocoa on hand. It's an easy one to do in the oven. Be sure to serve it warm. You can fancy it up with Cool Whip or ice cream.

BAKED FUDGE PUDDING
4 eggs, well beaten
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup melted butter or margarine
1 cup broken pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt

Sift dry ingredients. Combine beaten eggs and dry ingredients and beat until well blended. Mix in melted butter and remaining ingredients. Pour into greased baking dish set in pan of hot water. Bake, like a custard, at 300 F. for 40 to 60 minutes.
