Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-Ets) is a program on career focused services geared toward students ages fourteen to twenty-two who meet eligibility requirements. Bridget Calfee is the Transition Coach over the Pre-Ets program in Union County.

The purpose of chiropractic treatment is to help the body’s potential to heal itself. The type of chiropractic therapy provided depends on the cause of the patient’s sciatica. A sciatica treatment plan may include several different treatments such as ice/cold therapies, ultrasound, TENS, and spinal adjustments (sometimes called spinal manipulation).
As a child, I spent many a spring or summer day romping through the yard as I chased flying insects. If it had fluttering wings, it fascinated me. Whether it was a butterfly, bee, or lightning bug, I followed it with envy. Fortunately, I didn’t do that with birds. That may have gotten a little messy.
For those of us who were teenagers or young adults in the 1980s, it seemed, at least in retrospect, a magical time. Even the music of the 1980s was great. I was a freshman at Lincoln Memorial University in the spring of 1984. That was so long ago that the college academic year was divided into quarters, four instructional terms that lasted approximately ten weeks each. The shift to semesters, three annual instructional terms of approximately sixteen weeks each, started at some point before I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in 1987.
Snow is normally a dazzling, at times blinding white and we all enjoy the good snow that sticks to all the trees and is a thing of beauty. Snow strangely enough can be other colors at times, the most common being yellow where a dog peed on a tree or a juvenile male human peed his initials in the back yard. There are still other colors of snow that occur on the planet and so here is a rundown of some of them.
Most everyone likes crab cakes. They can be a bit expensive to make. Here is a good iimtation “got you fooled” crab cake recipe. Make it in the winter time when no one suspects you are using zucchini. Fool 'em.

This is the main principle behind the Union County Family Resource Center and its runners, Martha Warwick and Debbie Gillenwater. And they are two of the actual “runners” involved in the program in the truest sense of the word.
