Edward Graves, Jr.-age 78 of Rutledge passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at his home. He was the son of the late Edward Graves, Sr. and Melba Christine (Harmon) Graves. Preceded in death by brother Vernon Leroy Graves, Sr.
Survivors: children. Kenton Graves and wife, Alicia; Brenda Graves Chesney and husband, Tony; Tim Graves and wife, Jennifer; the mother of his children, Barbara Jean Graves; sister-in-law, Shirley Graves. Numerous grandchildren and special cousins.
Junior Tarr-age 70 of Maynardville passed away Saturday afternoon, April 23, 2022 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Junior was the grounds keeper at Pittman Field Estates where he lived. He was preceded in death by mother, Velma Clark; father, Norton Devillo Tarr.
Survived by wife of 19 years, Mary Tarr of Maynardville. He also leaves behind other family member and a host of friends.
Edward Clyde Arnwine-age 78 of Harrogate, formerly of Luttrell passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Claiborne Medical Center. He was a member of Luttrell Baptist Church. He served on the City Council of Luttrell and was a past Chief and former Board member of Luttrell Volunteer Fire Department. Preceded in death by parents, Edd and Edna (Helton) Arnwine; wife, Margaret Buckner Arnwine; brothers, Bobby Arnwine, Claude Arnwine.
Carl Curtis Coppock – age 93 of Maynardville, passed away peacefully at home Friday, April 22, 2022. He was a longtime member of Alder Springs Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon for over 60 years. Carl served in the Army during the Korean War and was a lifelong farmer. Carl was active in the Maynardville community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Co-op, being a member of the Union County Historical Society and was a member of the Northern Association of Baptists.
Jerry Neal Fugate-age 64 of Washburn, TN, a native of Haywood County, North Carolina passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 at Parkwest Medical Center with his family by his side. Jerry was the son of the late Ben Jr. and Margaret Louise Fugate. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe David and James Robert; half-brother, Kenneth Fugate; nephew, Aaron Miles Fugate. Jerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from his lifelong love of the sawmill work.
Clint (Eddie) Farmer-age 84 of Clinton, TN passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 at Diversicare of Claiborne Nursing Home. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps and was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by wife, Lulu Farmer; parents, Edgar and Viola (Richardson) Farmer; brothers, Glen, Lee, Ed, Wendall Farmer, his twin brother, Trent Farmer, two infant brothers, Ray and Eugene Farmer; sister, Ruth Weaver.
Clint is survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Polly Ann (Mallicoat) Buckner-age 83 of Corryton, born September 15, 1938 gained her angel wings Sunday, April 17, 2022 at her home after a long battle with dementia. Polly was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. Polly loved the Lord. She sang God’s praises most of her life with three lovely ladies: Opal, Cassie and Georgia. Polly always had a loving spirit and smile that could make anyone feel loved. Preceded in death by parents, Enos and Thelma (Goin) Mallicoat; husband, Maurice Buckner; son, Maurice Dale Buckner; sister, Dolly Jones.
Rev. Don Lee Richardson-age 86 of Maynardville, born September 4, 1935 passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 at U. T. Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Don was a member and former pastor of Little Valley Baptist Church, Maynardville for many years. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Alma Louella (Buckner) Richardson; parents, Susie (Sexton) and Luther Richardson; brothers, Bill, Smiley and his twin brother, Von Richardson. Mother and father-in-law, Freda Mae and Curtis Buckner; one sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and a retired employee of Levi Strauss & Co. She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas Raymon Sharp and Pearl Odell Sharp; sisters, Oneita Cooper, Canzada Corum, Ruby Cooper, Estell Rutherford and Violet Sharp; brothers, J. C., L. Nathan Wayne Ridenour – 48 of Heiskell, went to be with our Heavenly Father on April 7, 2022 in LaFollette from heart complications. Nathan was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, pops and friend. He was a third-generation mason and was loved by many and known for his skilled craftsmanship. Nathan was a family man who loved his wife, kids and family. He spent many years of his life watching his children play softball and baseball. Nathan was always expressing his passion for the sports his children played. He was an avid boat lover, drag racer and was a jack of all trades.

Ruby Jean (Lambdin) Keck - 91 of Scott County, VA passed into Heaven on Monday, April 4, 2022 following a brief illness. She was born and raised in Maynardville, TN before moving to Duffield, VA. She was a member of Thomas Village Baptist Church in Duffield, VA. Ruby was a retired teacher from Union County, TN school system in Maynardville, TN.
Tony Franklin Huckleby-age 63 of Maynardville passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 at his home. He moved to Maynardville from Baltimore, Maryland in 1999. He was a member of New Start Baptist Church. Preceded in death by father, Clyde Huckleby; mother, Betty Dix; sister, Penny Manis; brother, Mickie Huckleby along with a host a host of other family members.
Phillip Matthew Lamb-age 46 of Luttrell passed away Monday morning, April 4, 2022 peacefully at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by grandparents, Evelyn and Joe Lamb, Bertha and Earl (Jawbone) Thomas. Several aunts and uncles.

Preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Allie (Tharp) Muncey; brothers, William (Bill) Muncey, Jack Muncey; sisters, Anna Lou McCoy, Rowena Cabbage.
Jack W. Myers – age 95 of Maynardville, passed away on March 28, 2022 at home after a brief illness. He was a member of Community Baptist Church, a member of American Legion Post 212, VFW Post 8682 of Union County, and a World War II Veteran. Jack was a retiree of Painters and Allied Trades, being a white waller for over 35 years. He was an avid lover of the outdoors, spending much of his life fishing and hunting with his son and grandson in Oregon.
Stephanie Koehler Kiser-age 92 of Maynardville passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Monday, March 28, 2022. She was born in Lukau, Czech and was exiled to Germany in 1946. She moved to Maynardville November 13, 1965. She was a faithful member of Alder Springs Baptist Church for 37 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Kiser; parents, Franz and Stefanie Koehler.
