Wade Nicely-age 84 of Washburn, born May 15, 1936 went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 16, 2021 at his home. He was a lifetime member and a deacon for 51 years of Pennington Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by wife, Jean Nicely; grandson, Casey Buckner; parents, Tim and Ava Nicely; brothers, Denver and Cleo Nicely, Leland (Lett) and Ruby Nicely, Lon Nicely, Curt and June Nicely, Cecil Nicely; sisters, Naomi Nicely, Katie Lee and Ralph Hundley.

Survivors: daughter, Lisa Buckner and husband, Tim; son, Elmer Nicely and wife, Gail; special nephew, Danny Ray Leonard. Grandchildren, Samantha and Chris Fox, Cassidy and Ryan Hyde, Adam and Ashley Nicely, Eric and Tesha Nicely, Megan Nicely; great-grandchildren, Madison and Mason Fox, Nate, Porter and Blakley Hyde, Alivia, Arabella and Alijah Nicely, Daniel, Derick and Dallas Nicely. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The family would like to express a special thanks to Judy Nicely and Angela Haynes.

Graveside service 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2021, Boruff Cemetery, Washburn with Rev. Gabril Haynes, Rev. Adam Nicely officiating with music by Ashley Nicely.
