Duey Carson Clapp – 78 of Luttrell, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was a faithful member of Forestdale Baptist Church and a U. S. Army Veteran.

He is preceded in death by parents, Adrian and Nellie Clapp; sons, Joshua Allen and Danny Carson Clapp; brothers, Ralph, Claude, Carl and Ronnie Clapp; and sisters, Edith Myers, Viola Bruner, Cathy Bailey and Janie Clapp. Duey is survived by wife, Sandra Clapp; children, Steven (Kim) Clapp, Amanda (Jerry) Mitchell, Matthew (Donna) Clapp and Hannah Graves; stepchildren, Erik (Heather) Watson, Nick (Kristin) Watson and Dawn Radics; twelve grandchildren: three great grandchildren; and siblings, Ella (Meril) Bruner, Shirley Middleton and Jerry (Jackie) Clapp.

Family and friends may call at their convenience from 12:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 11, 2021 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The family will arrive at 4:00 p.m. The service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Ross Wiliford officiating and eulogy by Woodrow “Woody” Wilson. Family and friends will meet at East TN Veterans Cemetery Friday, February 12, 2021 at 8:15 a.m. for an 8:30 a.m. interment.
