David Michael Hayes-age 46 of Knoxville passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at his home. David was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by sister, Melissa Daniels; uncles, Rick Lane, Clark Lane and Rick Hayes.

Survivors: wife, Stephanie Dunn; son, Dakota Hayes, daughter, Brittany Miller; granddaughter, Khaleesi Miller, all of Knoxville. Mother, Joan Ray; father, Steve Hayes; his best friend Tucker (his dog); several aunts, uncles and a host of friends. David was loved by everyone that knew him. He will be missed by all that loved him.

The family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 14, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. Sunday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Chuck Daniels officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Dakota Hayes, Chris Rynes, Anthony Rynes, Jamie Bailey, J. R. O’Laughin, Danny Oxendine. In lieu of flowers, the family request donation for expenses be made at the funeral home. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
