Clarence Ray-age 77 of Maynardville, born October 11, 1942 passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital, Tennova. He was a member of Spiritual Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Andy and Maggie Ray; brothers, E. J. Ray and Junior Ray; sisters, Gladys, Dorothy and Mary Teresa Ray.

Survivors: sisters, Pearl Ray, Pauline (Jeff) Caldwell; brothers, Troy (Helen) Ray, J. C. Ray; sister-in-law, Carolyn Ray. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021, Spiritual Baptist Church, Rev. Clifford Fraker officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Pallbearers: Troy Ray, Bobby Ray, Robert Ray, Scott Ray, C. W. Fraker, Bill Malone. Per request of the family, please wear a mask and maintain social distancing. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
