Bobby Randel White

Bobby Randel White (89) left this earth to be with the Lord on September 15, 2022. During his lifetime he proudly served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. He was a member of Hines Creek Baptist Church for many years, as well as Emory Valley Baptist Church. He was a member of the Union County American Legion. He made his living and was well known in the construction community for his drywall finishing skills.

Much of his life he spent traveling the country gem hunting with his wife, Martha and he enjoyed camping with family and friends. He also was a talented leather craftsman and woodworker.

He is preceded in death by parents Arthur and Beulah White, brothers Jack White and Jimmy White, brothers in law, Larry Lett and Floyd McCoy, son in law David Effler, and grandson Robert Effler.

Bob is survived by the love of his life Martha Shell White, to whom he was married for 70 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother Gary (Caroline) White, and sisters Geraldine Lett and GloriaJean McCoy, and sister in law Pauline White. He also leaves behind five children Karen Effler, Brian (Diana) White, Lana Ridgeway, Kevin (Sherrie) White, and Tabitha (Joe) Young. His grandchildren include Kristi (Allen) Cooper, Robert Brian White Jr, Tisa (Chuck) Bailey, Ashley (Chris) Wyrick, Hannah (Maci) Young, Lydia (Spencer) Holt, and Jasper Young. His Great Grandchildren William and Kassi Cooper; Andy, Zachery, and Charlee Bailey; Baylor and Bryer Wyrick will also miss him dearly.

Pallbearers are Jasper Young, Gary White, Chris Wyrick, BJ White, Jack Effler, Anthony White.

Friends and family can visit the funeral home between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2022. Graveside services will be Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Hines Creek Cemetery meeting at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. where the Reverend Mark Large will be officiating.
