Union County Lions Club Invites Volunteers to Make a Difference

The Union County Lions Club is seeking service-minded men and women to join them in making a difference in the Union County community. Around the world, Lions are serving their neighborhoods and beyond while focusing on five global causes including vision, hunger, the environment, childhood cancer and diabetes.
“Our club inspires members to advance worthy causes, serve with friends, and become leaders in the community. This club means a lot to our Lions, but it means so much more to the people we serve,” said Kathy Chesney, club president.
“We want to share the impact we’re making in the community, and let others know how they can help,” said Pastor Chesney. Whether you have a couple of hours a month or a year, your volunteer hours are welcome.
The Lions International motto is “We Serve,” and the Union County club lives up to that! For many years, the Union County Lions Club has raised money to provide eye exams and glasses for county residents, performed pre-K vision screenings and helped with hearing tests and aids.
