UC FCE meeting recap: Learning, fellowship, creativity

Anna Marie Cooksey speaking to the FCE Club.
The Union County Family and Community Education (FCE) Club had a fantastic gathering for its March meeting, filled with learning, fellowship and fun!
To kick off our meeting, we played a St. Patrick’s Day-themed trivia game, which was a big hit! Congratulations to Lyndora Lyndsey for answering the most questions correctly!
We want to extend a huge thank you to Anna Marie Cooksey, MPH, CHES, Public Health Educator from the Union County Health Department, for her wonderful presentation on Heart Health. Her insights on keeping our hearts strong and healthy were both informative and inspiring!
After the presentation, members enjoyed a delicious baked potato bar for lunch. Thank you to everyone who contributed toppings, desserts, and drinks to make the meal extra special!
After lunch, members had the chance to admire and work on decorative gourds and gourd birdhouses. The creativity and craftsmanship on display were impressive, and it was a fun way to end our time together.
