Here is a Kool-Aid and ice cream treat that is easy to make. Who doesn't like an ice cream soda?

SPARKLE SODA
1/2 ounce envelope unsweetened lemon-lime or cherry Kool-Aid powder packet
1 cup sugar
2 cups cold milk
1 quart vanilla ice cream
28 ounce bottle carbonated water (3 1/2 cups)

Combine Kool-Aid powder and sugar. Dissolve in milk. Pour into 6 to 8 soda glasses. Add scoop of ice cream to each glass. Resting bottle of carbonated water on rim, carefully pour into glass to fill. Stir to muddle slightly. Adollop of Cool Whip and a maraschino cherry on top is a nice touch. Serve with a straw.
Note you can use lemon-lime soda instead of carbonated water..
