Author Denise Sherriff has released her first book, Kairos Moments, a compiled work featuring personal words of encouragement. Sherriff says the book is a result of combining stories from her journals filled with knowledge, wisdom and observations that include both the highs and lows of life; not just her own, but the affects of opportunities, choices, tragedy and joy in the lives of others. She says she writes with the hope that what she has to share can help her readers follow a better path to prosperity that includes love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control and eternal life.

“I have a desire to attest to others that the fullness of life is not measured in terms of living large, such as having wealth, a prestigious title, position or power,” says Sherriff. “There should be goals, of course, and planning is necessary. Accomplishments are vital to leave a strong, historical pathway for generations to come. But living life measured by responsibility, self-restraint, rewards and blessings is the way to go.”

Sherriff resides in Ooltewah, Tennessee and is the proud and zealous mother of Anthony. She is consistent in living up to her mission of sharing insights of life through a grateful heart with hope that is always laced with joy. Life’s experiences have given her faith like David to slay giants, strength like Samson to move virtual mountains, and wisdom like Solomon to make wise choices.

Those who know Denise say that she has a shepherd’s heart and perseveres in finding and serving those in need. She says it is her responsibility to share what she has learned through mentoring, which is her passion.

Sherriff is an industrious, resilient, gifted and creative-thinking speaker who inspires and motivates. As an elder at her church, Sherriff speaks messages of encouragement to those incarcerated, participates in community outreaches, supports awareness of human trafficking, facilitates Prayer Teams and leads Bible Studies. She ministers where God opens the doors for her to share her compelling story of hope and healing.

The benefits of Kairos Moments have inspired her to author a companion Workbook that lends itself well in deeper personal development as well as group study.

“The fullness of prosperity takes a lifetime,” says Sherriff. “I simply desire to do my part however small it might be; so, I write.”
